Okay, here's what happened :
1: Special summon Photon Thrasher by effect
2: Normal summon Goblindbergh
3: Through Goblindbergh's effect, special summon Stratos
4: Stratos' effect to grab bubbleman
5: Xyz summon Shockmaster
I was wondering if the guy just rage-quit on me first turn or if I actually did something wrong without knowing.

I think he just rage quit. That's a very hefty combo for a first move.
